Overview
On this walking tour, stunning in its richness and diversity, you will have the opportunity to see the most important shrines of Christianity within the old city of Jerusalem and its environs. First we will visit the holy Mount Zion – the birthplace of the Christian church with the chamber of the Last Supper and the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God. You will have the opportunity to walk along the Way of the Cross – Via Dolorosa. The apogee of the tour is a visit to the greatest shrine of Christianity – the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. Let us consider in the most detailed and thorough way all the shrines and chapels of this church, known from the beginning of the 4th century. The tour also includes a visit to the Western Wall.
The tour starts in the old city of Jerusalem (Old City, Jerusalem) at the Jaffa Gate. Comfortable shoes, drinking water and a sun hat are required for this tour. Clothing should be the same as when visiting churches (men should not visit churches in shorts, women should have clothes with closed shoulders, no neckline, short skirts and shorts, trousers can be worn).
