Monasteries of Jerusalem

Overview

This is a very interesting tour of the monasteries of Jerusalem. In the beginning we will visit the monasteries on the Mount of Olives. This is the Garden of Gethsemane, where the Church of All Nations is located, as well as the monastery of Pater Noster on the top of the Mount of Olives. After that we will move to the southern part of the city to the picturesque area of Jerusalem called – Ein Kerm, where John the Baptist was born. Here is the monastery of the Nativity of John the Baptist and the source of Virgin Mary.

The excursion begins at the place of accommodation of the tourists in Jerusalem (the address and time of the excursion beginning is indicated in advance by the guide). On the tour you need to have comfortable shoes, drinking water and a hat from the sun. Clothes should be like when visiting churches (men should not visit churches in shorts, women should have clothes with closed shoulders, do not have a neckline, short skirts and shorts, you can wear trousers). To cross the border post between Jerusalem and Bethlehem, tourists need to have a passport with them.
